Full membership of the Association (with voting right) is open to any member of the Indonesian aged 17 or over and who is resident in Northern Ireland. Affiliated membership without voting rights shall be open to any individual resident in Northern Ireland over 17 who supports the objects of the association. Junior membership is open to any Indonesian child in Northern Ireland.
An individual applying for membership (voting or non-voting) shall be required to complete an application form and register with the Secretary of the Association or in their absence whichever individual has been give the responsibility by the Management Committee.
The association may appoint a Patron to the association as agreed by the Management Committee. The Patron will have no voting rights but will support the work of the organisation and work on a voluntary basis to promote the work of the association.
Honorary membership may be conferred on any member of the Association no longer resident in Belfast, and as agreed by the Management Committee. Honorary members will have no voting rights.
All individual members will have the right to vote at the General meeting of the association.
The Management Committee shall have the right to;
approve or reject applications for membership; and
for good and sufficient reason to terminate the membership of any individual, provided that the member concerned shall have the right to be heard by the Management Committee before a final decision is made.
Members are expected to be helpful to each other and share work accordingly when a need arises.
All members and constituents shall pay such subscriptions as the Management Committee may determine.
